About Us
The ORBO Story
ORBO’s journey began in 2022 as an internal solution to support the stewardship of our rapidly growing land trust. Recognizing its potential, we partnered with industry leaders like Planet Labs and Makepath, whose expertise helped shape ORBO into a powerful, adaptable tool.
As ORBO continued to grow, so did our vision: to create a solution that empowers conservation everywhere. Today, ORBO stands as an independent organization, developed in collaboration with conservation professionals to ensure it meets the needs of land trusts, government agencies, and stewardship organizations dedicated to protecting natural resources.
Meet the Team

Trevor Moore is the Managing Partner at ORBO Systems, where he is committed to advancing conservation efforts. His journey began as a part-time contributor to a local land trust, where his passion for conservation flourished as he witnessed the positive impact of their initiatives.
This deepening commitment led him to transition to a full-time role, where he spearheaded a groundbreaking monitoring initiative that ultimately evolved into ORBO. Recognizing the transformative potential of this monitoring system, Trevor played a pivotal role in establishing ORBO Systems as an independent company, aiming to equip organizations with this powerful tool.
Prior to founding ORBO Systems, Trevor served as the Director of Conservation Stewardship at Natural Resources Conservancy and as the Executive Director of Watershed Hospitality. Trevor holds a BM from Northeastern State University and an MMA from the Lamont School at the University of Denver.

Thomas Pritner is the Chief Operating Officer at ORBO Systems, where he spearheads the company’s growth and operational strategies within the land monitoring industry. With a track record of optimizing operations as Vice President of Operations at Watershed Hospitality, Thomas brings a wealth of experience to his current position.
At ORBO Systems, Thomas is dedicated to refining day-to-day operations and ensuring that the company’s goals align with its commitment to advancing land monitoring through cutting-edge GIS technology. His approach combines technical expertise with strategic insight to drive meaningful results for clients.
When he’s not focused on driving company success, Thomas enjoys hitting the golf course, making music, and embracing various outdoor adventures.
Under Thomas’s leadership, ORBO Systems is set to continue pushing boundaries in GIS technology, meeting the evolving demands of land monitoring, and advancing sustainable land management practices.
